Since the beginning of recorded time, women have endured overwhelming injustice. It would be easy to conclude this was just the way God always intended. We couldn't be farther from the truth.
Many times words translated from the Bible lose their impact because of the way they are translated. The Hebrew word "êzer", the word used to describe what God intended for women, is one of those words. The definition of a word is significant. When people hear words, images are usually formed in their mind. If the definition of a word is off, the image will be off. We belief the word êzer falls in this category, the impact has been detrimental to society.
